San Francisco Treat!

This weekend, we did a LOT of stuff. Pictures can be seen here http://www.flickr.com/photos/bbridgford/

Friday Night
We had an excellent dinner at The Crab House located on Pier 39 in Fisherman's Wharf. This was our best meal in San Francisco, and we had a beautiful window seat with a view of the fog in the Bay. I'd highly recommend the crab chowder, mussels, and of course, Crab! After dinner cocktails at the Compass Grill & Bar where after midnight you can't get a drink to save your life - even if you are Irish with a very thick accent. The bartender offended our brothers from the north b/c he says "the Irish always stay up late and drink. " He eventually tells them that they should leave the bar. Hilarity does not ensue.

Saturday
We all covered many miles on Saturday in the cold, damp, rainy weather. Our list includes The Wharf, Half Moon Bay, Muir Woods, Ghiradelli Square, The Buena Vista, Market Street, Nob Hill, Russian Hill, Powell Street Trolley, China Town, SBC Park, Little Italy, and more I can't remember.

Sunday
Japan Town, SF Bay, the scenic drive of beautiful Hwy 1, Cannery Row in Monterey, 17-mile drive, Pebble Beach, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Jack London's Square (OAK)
